About me and my practice
I have experience in helping clients with a variety of issues, including stress and anxiety, relationship issues, bereavement, & lack of motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
My integrative approach draws influence from person-centred counselling, transactional analysis, cognitive behavioural therapy, Gestalt, and psychodynamic therapy. My top priority is to build a good and trusting therapeutic relationship with you by providing warmth, empathy, respect and compassion, working at your pace and to your agenda, as we work together to meet your goals.
I specialise in working online, making your experience as close as possible to working in person. Working online can be extremely beneficial for those wanting to stay in the comfort of their own home, avoid additional travel, and can seamlessly fit it in around their other commitments.
Experience
I am a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor / psychotherapist and a Registered Member of BACP.
I have experience working as a dedicated volunteer counsellor within an agency, one which specialises in working with abuse and trauma survivors.
Working in independent practice since 2022, I have supported many clients facing a wide variety of issues, including loss and grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, relationship problems, health issues, low self-esteem or confidence, and common mental health problems.
